December 7, 2025, marks the 175th anniversary of Mother Mary Goemaere’s arrival in California.
Answering God’s call, our Foundress established the first congregation of women religious in the new state of California in the tradition of St. Dominic, igniting a charism that has touched the hearts and minds of generations. She set the standard for our ministry—calling us to be preachers of truth, love, and justice, and to share the love of the Christmas miracle that is Jesus through our actions, thoughts, and words.
